In 2021 OMT received a generous donation. We decided to use the funds for a scholarship to provide a student, who was showing exceptional talent, with one-to-one tuition and a violin to hire for one year.
The scholarship was awarded to Daniel from Hastings Central School. He developed many life skills and became a role model to others who worked harder to hopefully receive one-to-one tuition as well. Daniel has given many polished solo performances which have been very well received.
The cost of individual tuition for one student per year is $2,000. This covers tuition fees, hirage of a good violin and attendances at professional concerts and exam entry fees.
